Dr. In-Chyuan Ho
Chairman & President

Dr. Ho has over 25 years of industry experience including 20 years as a growth market investment manager. He specializes in the investment analysis and decision-making as well as industrial management of industries covering electronic and opto-electronic materials and components. Prior to joining Vincera Capital in September 2005, Dr. Ho worked at China Steel Corp., where he was instrumental in the fundraising success and formation of Ascentek Venture Capital Corp., China Steel's growth capital investment subsidiary in 1999. During his 6-year tenure as General Manager of Ascentek, Dr. Ho led investments in nearly 50 technology companies. Home-run deals with 5 to 10X return multiples included Himax Opto-Electronics, Radiant Opto-Electronics Corp. (6176), Laser Tek (6207), E-Ton Solar Tech. (3452), and AATI.

Before Ascentek Venture Capital Corp., he served as Vice President and Advisor of Gains Investment Corp. (the investment arm of the China Steel Corp.) where he took charge of and invested in over 50 companies. Among which, it included proprietary deals like Betacera Inc., Thintech Materials Technology Co. Ltd, Ambion Technology Inc. and Quantek Inc. as well as many other deals well-known within the investment community such as AUO (2406), Yosun Industrial Corp. (2403), Laser Tek (6207), TOA Elevam, Himax Opto-Electronics Corp., Europtronic Group Ltd. (Singapore), GenMont Biotech Inc., SuperAlloy Industrial Co., Sage (USA), AOI (USA) and Netpower Inc. (USA).
Dr. Ho had previously sat on the board of numerous companies including Ambion Technology, Netpower Inc., Nanmat Technology Co., Ltd. ,IEI Integration Corp., Polytronics Technology Corp., Swancore Industrial, U-MEDIA Communications Inc.,Chia Yi Steel Co., Ltd., Taiwan Biophotonic Co.,and Transtep Technology Group.

Before Gains Investment Corp., Dr. Ho served as Associate Scientist at the China Steel Corp. where he was responsible for advanced material research in addition to his deep involvement in the evaluation of investments in the TFT-LCD industry and the technology transfers associated with it.

Dr. Ho received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 1990. He was also a visiting scientist at UCLA in 1994 sponsored by the National Science Council. Dr. Ho owns a patent and had published more than 20 papers in numerous journals and conferences.

 
Joy Kao
Senior Vice President

Prior to joining Vincera Capital in November 2011, Joy served as Chief Financial and Operation Officer at PQ international, Inc. Earlier in her career, Joy was the special assistant to CEO in CyberTAN Technology, Inc. (3062).

She was in charge of not only the relationship of investors, media, but also alliance strategic investment. She also worked at Triton Ventures.

She began her career with CPA Firm Deloitte & Touche, where she was responsible for auditing major companies including FIC, VIA, and Sinyi House.

Joy holds a BS in Finance from National Taiwan University and an MBA from National Taiwan University.

 
Felice Fan
Assistant Vice President, Finance

Felice Fan joined H&J Management in March 2021. Prior to joining H&J Management, Felice was the Senior Director of Administration Department for a Medical Device Company. Earlier in her career, she worked as an auditor for a CPA Firm and as the account manager in the Capital Market Division of a Securities Company.
